GlobalFest Passport Pursuit — presented by Showpass
By registering for and playing GlobalFest Passport Pursuit (the “Game”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register or play.
Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must claim any prize on their behalf. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of GlobalFest, Showpass, Air Canada, Stay Golden and other participating sponsors are not eligible to win prizes.
Register with your full name, email address and phone number. Visit the participating country pavilions on the festival grounds, complete each pavilion’s puzzle or challenge, and collect the corresponding digital stamp in your passport. Once all stamps have been collected, present your completed passport at the Showpass kiosk to be entered into the grand prize draw. No purchase of festival merchandise or food is necessary to play, though festival admission is required to access the pavilions.
One entry per person. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entries must be completed before the close of the festival on the final event night. Sharing, selling or publicly posting pavilion passcodes is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
Grand prize: two round-trip airfare tickets to anywhere in the world that Air Canada flies. Runner-up prize: a $2,000 Stay Golden gift certificate for a 4-night stay at a mountain vacation rental outside Golden, BC.
Prizes are subject to the terms, conditions, blackout dates and availability set by the prize providers. Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or substituted, except that the organizers may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for all taxes, fees, travel documents, insurance, transfers and any costs not expressly included in the prize.
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible completed entries after the festival closes. Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or phone number provided at registration and may be required to sign a declaration and release. If a winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be drawn.
The personal information you provide (name, email address, phone number) is collected to administer the Game, verify entries, and contact winners. It is stored securely and is not sold to third parties.
By providing your email address and registering for the Game, you agree to receive marketing and promotional emails from Showpass, as well as event updates from GlobalFest. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive.
Participants must follow all festival rules, signage and staff instructions while playing. The organizers may disqualify any participant who tampers with the Game, attempts to bypass puzzles, or behaves in a disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful manner toward staff, performers, vendors or other guests.
The Game is provided “as is.” The organizers and sponsors are not responsible for technical failures, network outages, lost or delayed entries, device incompatibility, or any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the Game or use or enjoyment of a prize, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Game at any time if it cannot run as planned. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
